Bruce Fulton, Group Chairman

Bruce an experienced senior geologist and public company director. He previously held the position of Chief Geologist at Porgera, a large Intrusive Related Gold System deposit similar to the style of mineralisation being targeted by Tectonic Gold. At the time, Porgera was producing 1 million ounces of gold per annum and was one of the largest gold mines in the world.

Following his successful technical career in mining with major international gold companies such as Dominion Mining, Placer Dome and Plutonic Resources, Bruce became a consultant to the industry and professional director. He co-founded Ophir Partners, a resources and energy industry consulting firm assiting groups in building high impact boards and senior management teams. He brings his knowledge from consulting to many leading international exploration and mining companies to his role as Chairman of Tectonic Gold and in leading the Remuneration and Nomination Committee.

 

Bruce is a national Councilor for the Association of Mining and Exploration Companies (AMEC) and Chairman of the Sydney branch of The Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (MAusIMM). He is also a member of The Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum (MCIM); The Society of Economic Geologists (MSEG) and The Australian Institute of Company Directors (MAICD). Bruce has an M.Sc. (Earth Sciences) from Waikato University and an MBA from Deakin University.

Sam Quinn, Executive Director and Company Secretary

Sam Quinn is a corporate lawyer with over 20 year's worth of experience in the natural resources sector, in both legal counsel and executive management positions. Mr Quinn is currently a partner of Silvertree Partners, a London-based corporate services company dedicated to the natural resources sector and holds various other positions in both listed and private natural resource companies.

During time spent in these roles, Mr Quinn has gained significant experience in the administration, operation, financing and promotion of natural resource companies.

Prior to this, Mr Quinn worked as the legal counsel to the Dragon Group, a London-based mining venture capital firm, as a corporate lawyer for Jackson McDonald Barristers & Solicitors in Perth, Western Australia and for Nabarro LLP in London. 

Mr Quinn graduated from the University of Western Australia in 1999 with a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts and is a qualified lawyer in Western Australia and in England & Wales.

Robert ("Brett") Boynton, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director

Brett is an experienced entrepreneur and corporate financier with expertise as an investment banker in capital markets, mergers, acquisitions and private equity, including positions at Credit Suisse, FBR Capital Markets and UBS.

 

More recently, Brett has focused on project development in the resources industry, having founded and funded a number of Australian resource companies including DEI Ltd, Signature Gold Ltd, Chrysos Corporation Limited and Tellus Holdings Ltd. Brett currently heads up the joint venture partner of Agripower Australia Limited, a private equity backed industrial minerals company focused on silicon products. Agripower is one of Australia's largest industrial minerals companies, with an extensive R&D programme and global distribution network, and has a mining, processing and export operation in Queensland proximate to the Signature Gold projects.

Brett holds an undergraduate degree in Economics and Accounting from the University of Cape Town, an MBA from Duke University and is a CFA charterholder. Brett has international finance experience as a senior investment banker with UBS and Credit Suisse in London, New York and Sydney. He was appointed as a Director of the Company on 26 May 2015.

Jonathan Robbeson, Executive Director

Jonathan is General Manager for Signature Gold. He has previously held senior technical roles in AngloGold Ashanti and Perilya Ltd. and brings with him extensive international exploration and mining operational and risk management experience. Jonathan specialises in integrated project development and has an in-depth knowledge of leading projects from exploration stage through feasibility, development, construction and into operation.

Jonathan holds a B.Sc. Honours (Geology) from Rhodes University; a Master’s degree in Economic Geology from the University of Tasmania, and a Masters of Mining Engineering from the University of New South Wales.

He is a member of The Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (MAusIMM CP Geo - 304542) and The Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD - 2407690). Jonathan is a Competent Person as defined by the 2012 JORC Code for Mineral Resource and Ore Reserve Estimation for various precious, base metal and industrial mineral deposits.
